Have you ever wanted to be immortalized for your noble and dynamic writing in the public limelight? The Mind's Eye is now accepting works of fiction specifically for the Worlds of Fantasy and Science Fiction sections as well as fantasy and science fiction related art. This is a literary website designed to promote previously unknown writers and it's the writers that make the Mind's Eye worthwhile. If you cannot write very well there is always the option of contributing a valid and truthful paranormal experience or a dream to the Paranormal Section. You need not give your name if you do not desire it.
Stories should be limited to 3000 words or less. If a particular work is truly outstanding then an exception may be made. A novel will only be accepted if it is separated into chapters or episodes. By submitting to the Mind's Eye you give us the permission to edit your writing for grammar, spelling, content, and overall appeal, and this gives us the right to post the work publically on the internet. Being an already published author does not guarantee your acceptence for inclusion on The Mind's Eye. All works of fiction are subject to an unbiased review by the Mind's Eye Staff. There is no age limit for submissions, in fact we encourage young authors to submit their fiction. Stories should be tasteful. Profanity for the sake of profanity is intolerable, but profanity to define the attitude or personality of a character is allowable. For instance this may only be expressed in a quotation, not as adjectives, nouns, or any other way that detracts from the actual plot or setting of your story. In this regard use as much propriety as possible. Some stories may be illustrated or accompanied by appropriate background music supplied by The Mind's Eye.
Editorials and non-fictional works are also accepted if the content is related to any Mind's Eye topic. As previously mentioned all works are subject to review and formatting. Feel free to accompany your piece with applicable pictures or imagery. This is an effective way to deliver your creative message.
As stated before you do not have to be a writer to submit a paranormal experience or ocurrence to The Mind's Eye. Paranormal experiences will only be edited for spelling, but not content. This is done in order to maintain the purity of the information involved. If at all possible include the date of the event, the time of day, the location, any witnesses, and a step by step synopsis of the circumstances. You do not have to give your real name or E-Mail address if you do not want to. Similarly your dreams are an important element of The Mind's Eye paranormal section. Each month there will be a new posting of dreams contributed to us by readers from around the world. Share yours today.
